Bill Smallwood was born in Washington D.C and migrated to the Northwest because of the Military, where he met his wife Jean, who he has been married to since 1964.
Bill started his insurance career at the Auto Club of Washington better known as AAA. Bill joined Prudential in 1974 where during his first year was the number 1 new agent out of a sales force of 20,000 agents.
In 1978 he became a Independent Agent and started Dynamic Insurance Agency and owned and operated it for nine years. Bill then decided to work in the Life Insurance part of the Business where he received many awards with Sunset Life Insurance Company. Bill was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and was a member of the Captains Table with Sunset Life which is there highest honor.
In 1991 Bill decided to pursue the Property and Casualty side of the business again to better serve his clients and started American Mutual Insurance Services, LLC. Since that time American Mutual Insurance Services has led the Hartford for Production for the past 3 years.
Currently he is the Chairman of the Board for the Northshore Chamber of Commerce and on a daily basis he looks forward to making the Motto of his agency come true. “Where The Search For Service Ends”.
